EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
M.P.A. in Nonprofit Management, Indiana University (Indianapolis)
B.S.P.A. in Public Affairs Civic Leadership, Indiana University (Indianapolis)
From Deirdre: When I’m not traveling the US, Egypt, and world to invest in the lives and communities of friends and family, you can find me in Centerville, Tennessee, singing at my church and spending quiet evenings reading and hosting with my husband, David. All too often, you can also find me working on the little 1870 Church in the Valley that I own and that 2-3 households of tenants call home (historic buildings are definitely a labor of love!). I love how my work with JDLA allows me to “serve the servants” and be integrally involved with coming alongside people who are doing some of the most critical work for Christ in areas of great need. I also enjoy cooking well-spiced meals, kayaking with my husband, and discussing theology and praxis with those around me. Life is an adventure, and living every day for Christ illuminates the most mundane moments with purest glory!
