Allyson Drinnon
IMPACT ASSOCIATE
Allyson Drinnon has over 20 years of experience working alongside nonprofits to strengthen programs, manage grants, and engage communities. Her work spans local, national, and global settings and includes partnering with public-sector leaders, building bipartisan and rural relationships, and supporting K–12 public charter school governance. She has helped guide boards through strategic planning, strengthen policies and ethical practices, and oversee multimillion-dollar public-sector budgets. At the heart of her work is helping organizations do what they do best—build strong programs, operate effectively, secure funding, and clearly show their impact.
Allyson has held senior leadership roles with Habitat for Humanity International, where she led global volunteer and institutional engagement efforts and supported teams through periods of organizational change. Earlier in her career, she volunteered for two years as an AmeriCorps member and then served as an AmeriCorps Program Director, managing a $3.4 million federal grant portfolio and helping grantees navigate funding and program requirements.
Her areas of expertise include nonprofit management, federal and foundation grants, volunteer engagement, governance, and support for rural, grassroots, and faith-based organizations. Allyson is a Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP) and a Certified Volunteer Administrator (CVA).
